Shinto Sacred Texts
Shinto sacred texts, are documents that contain Shinto beliefs and practices that were performed and followed by the Japanese Civilians. The Shinto religion performs two important types of sacred documents Kojiki and Nihon Sjoki that have a historical background of the Shinto religion beliefs and the Shinto civilization. The Shinto followers also created other doctrines for education and rules. However, these texts are not related to Shinto doctrine, practice or rituals but were kept as collections of historical tales that contain the religious beliefs and cultural traditions of Japan.
